Rajasthan Board of secondary Education has officially released the REET admit card on the official website. REET exam will be on 27th February 2025. REET Exam 2025: What is REET Exam?

The Rajasthan eligibility examination for Teachers (REET) is conducted by the Rajasthan Board of secondary Education. It is conducted every year to hire teachers for primary and secondary level teaching in the state of Rajasthan for government schools. REET exam date is 27th February 2025.

REET Exam 2025: Eligibility Criteria

  • REET exam is conducted in two levels: Level 1 and Level 2. To be eligible for level 1, individuals must have completed Senior Secondary (12th) with minimum 55% and have also been admitted in bachelor’s degree or have completed 2 years Diploma in elementary education.  
  • To be eligible for Level 2, individuals should have a bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 55% as aggregate score, along with B.Ed. or 4 years Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.). Some special qualifications are given to candidates in both levels, depending on subject and teaching focus.  
  • There is no minimum or maximum age limit in REET exam. 
  • To be eligible for REET exam, Individuals should be citizen of India.  
  • There is no maximum or minimum attempts bar in the REET exam.

REET Exam 2025: Syllabus 2025

REET exam is held in two levels: Level 1 and Level 2. This exam is designed for individuals who wish to become primary school teachers in government schools for Class 1 to 5. Level 2 is for individuals who wish to teach elementary level students, class 6 to 8. REET exam level 1 syllabus has the following subjects: Child development and pedagogy, language –I and language-II, mathematics and environmental studies.  

REET exam level 2 syllabus has the following subjects: Child development and pedagogy, language –I and language-II, Mathematics, science (subject specific).  

The REET exam questions are Objective based, and the duration of the test is 2hr 30 minutes. The exam is held in both English and Hindi language.

REET Exam 2025: Exam Pattern

To be eligible for the REET exam, the candidate must understand the exam pattern. The level 1 exam consists of 150 MCQ questions of 150 marks. The questions are from 4 major subjects: Child development and pedagogy, language –I and language-II, mathematics and environmental studies. From each topic, there are 30 questions.  For level 2 exam, it consists of 150 MCQ questions of 150 marks. The questions are from 4 major subjects: Child development and pedagogy, language –I and language-II, Mathematics, science (subject specific).  30 questions from each section (Child development and pedagogy, language –I and language-II,) and 60 questions each from (Mathematics, science (subject specific). The duration of the exam is 2 hours 30 minutes.
