The National testing agency is now conducting session 2 of JEE Mains today. The 1st shift has started from 9.00 am and will end at 12 pm. Further the 2nd shift exam will start from 3 pm onwards and will end at 6 pm.

JEE Mains Examination: Important Updates
NTA has started with the JEE Main examination from today. The 1st shift examination was conducted from 9.00 am to 12.00 pm. Furthermore, the 2nd shift examination will be from 3 pm to 6 pm.
Basically, candidates are allowed to carry 2 passport size photographs, admit card, Valid ID proof, Transparent blue/black ballpoint pen, one transparent water bottle only inside the JEE Main examination center.
Further NTA will conduct JEE Mains exam on 3rd April 4th April 7th April 8th April and 9th April 2025. The JEE Main admit card for these dates has been released on the official website. Further, exam analysis and difficulty level will be updated soon.

JEE Mains: Examination Day Guidelines and Dress Code
Basically, candidates are not allowed to wear shoes/ footwear which heavy and thick soles, shirts/t-shirts with large buttons.
Further, candidates should not wear anything which can resist at time of frisking process. So, wear simple light cooler clothes and avoid clothes with any pockets.
Further, candidates should carry JEE Main admit card inside the JEE Main examination center.
Further, candidates should carry any valid Id proof along with the JEE Mains admit card, school ID card, PAN card, voter ID card, Aadhar card, passport or a bank passbook with the photograph.
Further, individuals should carry one passport size photograph which matches the updated application photograph.
Further, individuals should also complete the self-declaration form, downloaded with the admit card.
Further, it is advised to reach the center ½ hour before the reporting time.
Further, frisking and biometrics will be taken after every bio-break
Further, rough sheets will be provided in the exam center for work.
