There are some pivotal steps involved in the admission process   

Eligibility Criteria  

Aspirants must meet the PhD eligibility criteria given by the universities or research institutes. Generally, aspirants must have a Graduation Degree or master’s degree in a relevant field of study with at least 55% aggregate.  

Application Form  

Candidates should either fill in the offline application form by visiting the university or the online application form available on the official website of the respective university or research institute. All necessary information must be uploaded.  

Entrance Examination  

Some prestigious universities offer PhD programs based on Entrance examination scores like Gate, UGC NET, etc. while some conduct their entrance exam to examine the candidate. The PhD of the entrance examination schedule varies depending on the course and university.  

Short Selection  

Based on the application and entrance test (if applicable), candidates will be shortlisted for the required course.  

Interview/Written Test  

Shortlisted candidates must appear for a written interview or test conducted by the university or institute. Final selection will be based on performance in an interview or written test.  

Offer letter of admission  

Selected candidates will get an offer from the university or research institute. Entry procedures must be completed, and the necessary fees must be paid for successful admission to the relevant course.
