AMS focuses on Ayurvedic medicine, while MBBS course focuses on modern allopathic medicine. BAMS graduates study Ayurvedic principles and therapies, whereas MBBS graduates study modern medical science and procedures. The scope of practice and treatment approaches also differ between the two degrees.
