What is the PhD admission process at Indian University?

The PhD admission process in Indian universities involves the following steps: Firstly, an individual must submit online or offline applications with required mandatory documents and fees.  

Further, an individual needs to prepare for and appear for PhD entrance exams, i.e. UGC-NET, GATE and CSIR-NET.  

Furthermore, shortlisted candidates are called for personal interviews and group discussions.  

Furthermore, the panel will review the academic background, research interest and proposal of the individual.  

If the individual is selected, then the university will allocate the guide and will ask to complete coursework before a full research paper.
