You should have excellent communication skills. You will need to communicate with clients, witnesses and even judges on a daily basis. Therefore, you should be able to speak clearly and convincingly so that people listen to what you have to say. You should also have good analytical skills. You will need to analyze evidence, facts and legal precedents in order to make an informed decision. This is particularly important when you work as a lawyer, since you will have to make quick decisions that could affect the outcome of a case.
