What is the difference between AICTE and AIU approval for PGDM programs?

AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education) approval is required for a management institute to offer a PGDM program and ensure that it meets specific quality standards. On the other hand, AIU (Association of Indian Universities) approval provides equivalence to PGDM programs to be considered for higher studies, government jobs, or other purposes where a master’s degree is required.
